Job summary

Inline Plastics in Shelton, CT is seeking an Assistant Product Portfolio Manager to support new product development and line extensions from concept through launch. You will collaborate with Sales, RD&E, Marketing/Branding, CX, and Operations to ensure product profitability and successful launches.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in marketing or business management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, SharePoint, and Teams preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical and financial information.
• Ability to apply mathematical and statistical concepts to sales forecasting and financial analysis.
• Ability to analyze complex data and draw data-driven conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Support the Product Portfolio Manager with new product development and commercialization from concept through launch.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate feasibility and support timely launches.
• Assist Sales and customer meetings, innovation sessions, and trade shows; translate feedback into opportunities.
• Conduct market and competitive research to identify trends and portfolio gaps.
• Prepare pre-development NCMs, margin analyses, reports, and recommendations.
• Manage prototype, sample, and product information in applicable systems.
• Support product processes and systems (Salesforce, PSF, Epicor, SOPs).
• Collaborate on product launches, training, and sales materials; coordinate communications.
• Domestic travel approximately 5–10%.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Product Management.
