This is a specialized position responsible for Product Planning of next-generation AMD Adaptive and Embedded Computing products, with a focus on DSP and RF technologies.
The role drives the definition and alignment of product capabilities across signal processing, RF conversion, and associated compute integration, including AI/ML, by developing product and IP requirements.
The individual serves as a key technical point of contact across business, architecture, and engineering teams, translating system-level signal chain requirements into product definitions and IP strategies.
A successful candidate is one who can independently drive technical decisions and is accountable for the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of results critical to product success.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong technical depth in DSP, RF, AI/ML, and/or mixed-signal systems, with the ability to translate system-level requirements into structured product and IP definitions.
The candidate must operate effectively across cross-functional teams, influencing architecture, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and clarity in product definition.
Comfort with ambiguity: the candidate should excel at creating structure and driving decisions when inputs are ambiguous or conflicting.
