Job summary

Spade, a data and AI platform for transaction enrichment, is seeking a Product Performance Analyst in NYC. You’ll analyze data quality, match rates, and performance across enrichment products, partnering with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to drive improvements at scale.

You’ll build dashboards, investigate anomalies, and automate monitoring, applying SQL, Python, and BI tools like Looker, Tableau, and Hex. This is a hybrid role with NYC office days 2+ per week.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of analytical experience with data quality, product analytics, or performance monitoring.
• Strong SQL skills with complex joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions.
• Proficiency in Python for large data manipulation and automation.
• Experience building and maintaining BI dashboards and automated monitoring.
• Analytical mindset and pattern discovery in messy data.
• Process mindset focused on workflow improvements.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Based in NYC with ability to work from the Flatiron office at least 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data quality, match rates, and performance across enrichment products.
• Investigate anomalies and drive improvements to the core product and data.
• Define, build, and maintain dashboards, monitoring, and alerts.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual workflows and QA processes.
• Contribute to quality standards by improving runbooks and documentation.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate insights into roadmap changes.
