Job summary

Spade is hiring a Product Performance Analyst in New York City. You will drive data quality for enrichment products, analyze performance across card and ACH networks, and collaborate with product, engineering, and AI/ML teams to implement improvements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in analytics, strong SQL and Python skills, and experience building BI dashboards with Hex/Looker/Tableau/Metabase. This role requires NYC residency and a hybrid office schedule.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in analytics with data quality or product analytics.
• Strong SQL with joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions.
• Python proficiency for large data manipulation.
• Experience building BI dashboards and monitoring alerts (Hex/Looker/Tableau/Metabase).
• Analytical mindset and ability to spot patterns in messy data.
• Process orientation to improve workflows.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• AI-forward approach using coding assistants/LLMs.
• Based in NYC with ability to work from Flatiron office 2 days/week.

Responsibilities

• Assess product performance across enrichment products using data quality, accuracy, and match-rate metrics.
• Investigate anomalies and patterns in large datasets; drive product/data improvements.
• Define, build, and maintain dashboards, monitoring, and automated alerts.
• Improve QA processes and workflows with internal teams to automate recurring tasks.
• Create and enhance runbooks, docs, and workflows as product volume grows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and AI/ML teams to translate insights into roadmaps.
