Job summary

General Motors Corporation is seeking a Product Owner / Tool Developer to lead the integration of third-party CAE connections into GM’s SPDM ecosystem. You will bridge Scale and INSPIRE, manage product lifecycle, and coordinate with IT, engineers, and vendors to deliver scalable integrations.

You will translate engineering needs into actionable roadmaps, own data flows, and drive continuous improvements in data governance and automation across multi-domain workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Experience with software integration, APIs, data pipelines, engineering applications, or technical product development.
• Experience with CAE, simulation, engineering data management, PLM, or related engineering systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop integrations between third-party CAE applications and Scale using Scale APIs and approved integration frameworks.
• Own the INSPIRE product lifecycle, including vision, backlog prioritization, release planning, documentation, and stakeholder communications.
• Translate engineering needs into product requirements, user stories, technical specs, and roadmap priorities.
• Define integration architecture, data flows, interface specs, and exchange standards across Scale, INSPIRE, Teamcenter, and connected apps.
• Lead proof-of-concept development, solution design, testing, deployment, and sustainment of new integrations.
