Job summary

McLeod Software is seeking a Product Owner to drive the strategy of our McLeod Software Implementations. In this highly collaborative role, you’ll serve as the voice of the customer to our development team, translating customer and business needs into clear priorities that deliver meaningful product value.

You’ll own the backlog, work with stakeholders and the Product Manager, write development-ready user stories, and advocate for the customer throughout the engineering and QA processes.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on customer needs, objectives and strategy.
• Partner with stakeholders to define and refine product requirements.
• Advocate for the customer throughout the development process.
• Create and refine user stories, ensuring they are development-ready.
• Communicate priorities and business value to the development team.
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA to address customer problems.
• Support product and release planning across cross-functional teams.
• Contribute market insights to product decisions.
• Develop customer personas with UX teams.
