Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and organized Product Owner to lead a newly formed nearshore Acquisition Team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact between the team and U.S.-based Product Owners and Solution Architects. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and propose effective solutions while managing the execution of sprints and prioritizing the team’s backlog. This position plays a critical role in the continuous improvement of agile practices and product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead backlog prioritization and sprint planning for the Acquisition Team

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and define clear user stories

• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business users

• Facilitate retrospectives and contribute to agile process improvements

• Support the delivery of features from inception to deployment

• Communicate complex ideas clearly in written and verbal form

Qualifications and Job Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience, with at least 3 years in product management or ownership

• Proven ability to lead without authority and manage cross-functional teams

• Strong background in agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence)

• Excellent communication and analytical skills

• Experience developing features for complex, high-consideration products or services

• Proficiency in backlog management, user story writing, and sprint facilitation

• Ability to synthesize large volumes of data and prioritize effectively
