Job summary

Berkley One is seeking a Product Owner to translate strategic goals into actionable roadmaps and to lead delivery with cross-functional teams. You will own the product backlog, ensure clear requirements, and collaborate with IT and business partners to validate outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in product ownership or related roles within property/casualty insurance, strong communication, and proven capability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

3+ years in Product Ownership/PM/BA/PM roles.
Insurance domain experience preferred (Personal Lines).
Familiarity with policy administration, underwriting, rating, workflows.
Experience with Agile (Scrum/SAFe/Kanban) delivery.
Strong planning, coordination, and execution skills.
Ability to manage competing priorities across initiatives.
Excellent verbal and written communication; stakeholder management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage product roadmaps and delivery milestones.
Translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps with cross-functional teams.
Maintain rollout plans, action logs, risk registers, and status reports.
Own and prioritize the product backlog; ensure requirements are documented clearly.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to validate delivered functionality.
Support governance, planning, and quarterly roadmap refresh activities.
Identify process improvements to boost efficiency and customer experience.
