Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a product leader to own the vision for AI data quality and governance. You will translate client needs into requirements, manage the backlog, and work with Scrum teams to deliver value.

The role focuses on guiding data-driven AI initiatives, ensuring governance and security, and communicating progress to stakeholders. You will collaborate with business partners to understand data challenges and AI opportunities, shaping solutions that combine data quality with responsible AI

Qualifications

• Experience in data engineering, data management, analytics, or application development.
• Experience supporting or developing Agentic AI, Generative AI, Copilot, or other LLM-based solutions.
• Strong SQL, data analysis, and requirements gathering skills.
• Experience identifying data quality issues and implementing process improvements.
• Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI practices, prompt engineering, and data governance concepts is preferred.
• Familiarity with data quality, metadata management, data lineage, data privacy, data security.
• University/college degree typically required for this level, with 3+ years of relevant/direct industry experience.
• In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision and definition for AI data quality and governance initiatives.
• Serve as the voice of the customer to guide Scrum priorities and backlog grooming.
• Define and communicate the vision to address client requirements and business objectives.
• Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog; lead backlog grooming sessions.
• Partner with Scrum Masters to ensure work aligns with the product backlog and goals.
• Accept, review, and validate working product delivered by Scrum Teams.
• Present findings and proposed improvements to business and technical stakeholders.
• Assess and manage risks in accordance with enterprise risk management frameworks
• Design or refine AI prompts and workflows for data quality and business process analysis.

Job description

• Lead product backlog grooming


• Partner with Scrum Masters to ensure work follows the product backlog

• Communicate iteration business value and outcomes to stakeholders


• Meet with business partners to understand data challenges and AI opportunities


• Review operational data and AI-generated findings for data quality issues


• Work with Data Owners and Compliance teams to validate classifications, governance rules, and remediation plans


• Design or refine prompts and AI workflows for data quality and business process analysis


• Build proof-of-concept AI solutions using Microsoft AI and data platforms


• Review AI outputs for accuracy, governance compliance, and business relevance


• Document requirements, recommendations, and solution designs


• Present findings and proposed improvements to business and technical stakeholders


• Assess and manage risks in accordance with PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework
