Job Description
The Product Owner I will be responsible for partnering with business leads to execute strategic direction, ensure continuous improvement, and manage the roadmap for the digital experience. The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to:
- Consult with business partners, developers, third-party vendors, and other key participants to define focus areas and develop solutions that meet organizational goals.
- Define requirements and support the development of solutions translating business needs into systems, applications, and designs.
- Manage the backlog of employee experience product deliverables, leveraging insights from qualitative and quantitative sources, and develop solutions aligned with organizational objectives around operations and workforce experiences.
- Independently analyze complex client needs in areas such as new business initiatives, innovative solutions, product functionality, and operational readiness.
Responsibilities
- Conduct sessions to outline ideal design, brainstorm with end users, and ensure technical designs support business objectives.
- Partner with digital experience researchers and designers to optimize user experience.
- Analyze client business processes, gather functional requirements, and prepare documentation for validation.
- Lead technical discovery, define specifications, evaluate existing solutions, or explore new ones.
- Participate in systems planning and recommend technologies to enhance business support systems.
- Define customer problems clearly and communicate them to the development team to drive solutions.
- Develop business cases for new applications, considering costs, benefits, and services.
- Define and track KPIs and success criteria.
- Coordinate project timelines and feature planning with stakeholders.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture and application portfolios.
- Manage product roadmaps, outline vision, priorities, and progress.
- Communicate risks and develop risk assessments with business leads.
- Consult on solution options within enterprise architecture frameworks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or healthcare discipline.
- Seven+ years of related experience with in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies.
- Healthcare technology or Human Resources experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Compensation: $109,000 - $163,695 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
