Job Summary:

• As an Experienced Product Owner, you will be responsible for leading high-value projects, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality insurance products and data solutions. Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead high-value projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder requirements.
• Product Development: Define and prioritize product features, create user stories, and maintain a well-organized product backlog.
• Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure their needs are met throughout the project lifecycle.
• Insurance Expertise: Apply your deep understanding of the insurance industry to develop products that address market demands and regulatory requirements.
• Data Products: Leverage your expertise in data products to design and implement solutions that enhance data analytics, reporting, and decision-making processes.
• Business Intelligence (BI): Utilize BI tools and techniques to transform data into actionable insights, supporting strategic decision-making and performance improvement.
• Agile Methodology: Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines, facilitate sprint planning, and conduct regular reviews and retrospectives.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with development teams, providing clear guidance and support to ensure successful product delivery.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet high standards of quality, performance, and user satisfaction through rigorous testing and validation processes.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner, with a proven track record of leading high-value projects in the insurance industry.
• Delivery Lead: Over 10 years of experience in a delivery lead role, managing complex projects and ensuring successful outcomes.
• Insurance Knowledge: Strong background in insurance, including familiarity with industry regulations, policies, and market trends.
• Data Expertise: Proficiency in data products, including data analytics, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Business Intelligence (BI): Experience with BI tools and techniques, such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Agile Practices: Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of software development processes, data management, and relevant technologies.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders and team members.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering innovative solutions.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in insurance, project management, or BI are a plus.

Must Have

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Product Owner
• Over 10 years of experience in a delivery lead role
• Strong background in P&C insurance, including familiarity with industry regulations, policies, and market trends
• Proficiency in data products, including data analytics, reporting tools, and data-driven decision-making.
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
