Job summary

SEI is seeking a Product Owner to own the ECM suite roadmap, balancing business priorities with development capacity. You will translate complex needs into clear user stories, manage Jira backlogs, and coordinate across Product, Development, QA, and Operations.

You will also drive workflow design and automation while leveraging AI tools for discovery and governance. The role requires 5+ years in Product/Business Analysis, strong Agile SRLC knowledge, Jira mastery, and experience in FinTech/Asset

Qualifications

BA/BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, Business, or applicable experience.
5+ years of experience in Product, Business Analysis, Development, or a related discipline, including demonstrated Product Owner experience.
Strong understanding of Agile delivery and the SDLC, including backlog management, requirements writing, sprint planning, release planning, testing, and production readiness.
Hands-on Jira expertise, including backlog management, workflow configuration, workflow administration, automation, reporting, and use of Jira as an SDLC and workflow management tool.
Experience analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes through workflow automation and system-driven solutions.
Ability to synthesize input from multiple stakeholders and translate complex business needs into clear, scalable functional requirements.
Strong communication, critical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage both business and technical audiences.
Financial Services experience, preferably FinTech experience in Asset Management, Wealth Management, or investment operations.

Responsibilities

Own and execute the product roadmap for the ECM suite, including Workflow, Document Management, and WorkDesk.
Partner with stakeholders and development teams to translate business needs into user stories and acceptance criteria.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog in Jira and drive Agile ceremonies.
Configure, optimize, and support Jira workflows and related project structures.
Design and improve end-to-end business/workflow processes and automation solutions.
Serve as product SME for ECM capabilities and govern discovery with AI tools.
