Job summary

ChemPoint is seeking a Dynamics 365 Product Owner for its Bellevue, WA hybrid role. You will translate business objectives into scalable capabilities, manage the backlog, and drive enhancements across customer engagement workflows.

You'll partner with sales, service, operations, and tech teams to improve account management, lead management, and customer support while balancing platform stability with new functionality.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from a fully accredited four-year institution or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, technology delivery, or a related field.
  • Experience working within Agile delivery environments.
  • Experience translating business needs into product capabilities and technology solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of product ownership, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices.
  • Experience gathering requirements, analyzing workflows, and designing solutions.
  • Ability to develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.
  • Strong prioritization, tradeoff analysis, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders and collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of product health management, including technical debt, operational risk, and product lifecycle considerations.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Azure DevOps, collaboration tools, and software delivery processes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for delivery teams.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain understanding of product capabilities, dependencies, risks, limitations, and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze product usage, user feedback, and vendor roadmaps to inform recommendations.
  • Recommend technical debt remediation and product sustainability improvements.
  • Balance enhancement opportunities with platform stability, maintainability, and supportability.
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs, challenges, constraints, and desired outcomes.
  • Develop and evaluate solution options, including tradeoffs, risks, dependencies, and expected business impact.
  • Define workflows, capabilities, features, and requirements that support approved product objectives.
  • Align on recommended solutions and translate them into delivery-ready work.
  • Maintain a prioritized product backlog aligned to approved priorities and business objectives.
  • Create user stories and acceptance criteria sufficient for development, testing, business validation, and efficient delivery.
  • Ensure upcoming work is appropriately scoped, understood, and ready for execution.
  • Manage dependencies, risks, assumptions, and decisions impacting delivery.
  • Guide initiatives through the software delivery lifecycle from planning through release and adoption.
  • Partner with delivery teams to provide timely clarification, business context, and decision support throughout execution.
  • Support testing, business validation, and business readiness activities to ensure delivered capabilities meet business needs.
  • Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and issues while gathering feedback and supporting adoption of delivered capabilities.
  • Build trusted relationships across business and technology teams.
  • Facilitate alignment, decision-making, and shared understanding of priorities and objectives.
  • Communicate priorities, progress, risks, dependencies, and impacts to stakeholders.
  • Gather feedback and recommend improvements that enhance product effectiveness and user experience.

Primary Purpose:

The Dynamics 365 Product Owner is responsible for the overall health, effectiveness, and continuous improvement of ChemPoint's customer engagement platform. Working within product strategy established by the Product Manager, this role partners with sales, customer service, operations, and technology teams to optimize account management, lead/opportunity management, customer support, and other core business processes supported by Dynamics 365. The Product Owner translates business objectives into scalable product capabilities, manages the product backlog, and drives enhancements from concept through adoption. This role balances new functionality with platform stability, usability, data quality, and long-term sustainability to ensure technology investments improve business performance, user productivity, and customer experience.

Where You'll Work:

This is a hybrid role based in Bellevue, WA

Pay and Benefits:
  • The salary range for this position is $106,190 - $132,000 annually.
  • The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s relevant experience, education, training, certifications, qualifications, and work location.
