Job summary

BI Incorporated in Boulder, Colorado is seeking a Product Owner to support the product manager and drive day-to-day execution of developing, manufacturing, and servicing BI products. This role acts as the focal point for tactical coordination during development, launch, and post-launch support.

You will coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones, help define qualification criteria, and ensure documentation and compliance throughout the product life cycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in engineering/technical field.
• At least 1 year of experience in product engineering or product management in computer or software markets.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites and conferences.
• U.S. Citizenship required; must have lived in the United States 3 of the last 5 years.
• Product Owner certification preferred; experience with product development and release to market helpful.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and ensures alignment among cross-functional teams to meet major product milestones and customer commitments.
• Develops integrated project plans across functional teams to support major milestones and commitments for the product.
• Supports with qualification criteria to exit each stage of product life cycle (development, alpha, beta, manufacturing transfer and ramp, end of life).
• Identifies and categorizes customer issues and requests and routes them to appropriate teams.
• Uses product life cycle management tools to document requirements for standards and regulatory compliance.
• Tracks progress and reports on major customer issues resolution.
• Coordinates rollout of new product testing, validation, and post-launch support.
• Participates in product development and manufacturing meetings.
