Position Overview

Fidelity National Financial (FNF) is seeking a Data Engineering Product Owner to join our Corporate IT team. As a Data Engineering Product Owner, you will lead the development and management of data engineering products, ensuring they meet business needs and drive strategic goals. You will act as a bridge between data engineering teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements and actionable product features.

• Oversee the deployment and maintenance of data engineering products.
• Ensure products are scalable, secure, and compliant with data governance standards.
• Keep stakeholders informed about progress and gather feedback.
• Define metrics and KPIs to measure success.
• Understand the modern cloud data stack and data engineering principles.
• Ensure data quality and integrity within data products.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data engineering, computer science, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product management, especially in data engineering or analytics.
• Strong understanding of data engineering principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, data warehousing, and data lakehouses.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies such as Microsoft Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Function Apps, API Management, and CosmosDB.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
