Responsibilities & Qualifications

Drives value to the business by building, managing, and maintaining a Product Backlog in collaboration with IT teams. Represents the business to the team, defines business purpose and value, and ensures acceptance criteria are well-defined. Plays a key role in shaping product direction, creating features, writing user stories, and collaborating through Joint Application Development (JAD) and other brainstorming sessions.

Purpose

Same as above, emphasizing the role in product development and stakeholder collaboration.

Essential Functions

• Develops and aligns the Product Roadmap with strategic goals by working with customers and stakeholders to analyze and document business and technology needs.
• Engages with Agile teams to define and maintain Product Backlog epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Informs business decisions by drafting key objectives, results, and strategies, optimizing data through the product.
• Partners with management to create, implement, and adjust products, representing the team with clients and stakeholders.
• Communicates product needs to technologists and partners, ensuring functionality and adoption.
• Articulates the value proposition to clients and stakeholders.
• Researches market and user needs to inform product development.
• Advocates for Agile methods and stays updated on new technologies and trends.

Supervisory Responsibility

Position does not have direct reports but may guide and mentor staff and lead a matrixed team.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.

Experience: 2-4 years in business analysis, solutions development, or product ownership.

Preferred: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), healthcare experience, advanced degree.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Proficient in Agile methodologies.
• Skilled in building product roadmaps and managing stakeholders.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of HIPAA EDI 834 transactions.

Additional Details

Salary Range: $79,776 - $158,444. Travel required: approx. 10% domestically. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
