Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance in Boston, MA is seeking a Product Owner for the Personal Lines Data domain to lead data transformation and accelerate time-to-market for pricing and underwriting insights. You will partner with Technology squads and stakeholders to align priorities, own the backlog, drive quarterly planning, and ensure regulatory alignment while measuring impact with KPIs.

A strong background in Agile, data solutions, and business leadership is essential, with in-office presence 2 days

Qualifications

Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project management, typically gained via a degree or certifications.
Experience with quote/policy data lifecycle and financial premium/loss data is preferred.
5–7+ years of experience with agile teams and 7+ years in business, technology, or consulting.
Ability to explain complex ideas to diverse audiences and influence stakeholders.
Experience in Property & Casualty insurance domain is preferred, with knowledge of risk and pricing concepts.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate product vision and roadmaps aligned with priorities.
Own the product backlog with clear, actionable user stories for squads.
Lead quarterly and sprint planning and manage delivery expectations.
Support the squad daily, remove roadblocks, align on strategy.
Monitor product KPIs, health, and long-term viability; assess feasibility and trade-offs.
Ensure compliance and alignment; lead customer research to inform design decisions.
