Job summary

Liberty Mutual is seeking a data product leader to own the Personal Lines data domain, pricing, and underwriting data transformation initiatives. You will partner with Technology teams and stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate product-to-market delivery in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes building data-driven capabilities, managing backlogs, and driving measurable impact across USRM business lines.

Qualifications

• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Experience communicating recommendations to senior business leaders is preferred.
• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred.
• MBA or advanced degree in Mathematics, CS, Engineering, Economics, or quantitative field is strongly preferred.
• 5-7+ years of experience with coding and data solutions design principles, especially open source tech.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate product vision and roadmap aligned with priorities across squads/teams.
• Own the product backlog with clear, actionable user stories for the squad.
• Lead quarterly and sprint planning, set delivery expectations and communicate value per iteration.
• Support the agile team by clarifying requirements, removing blockers, and aligning on strategy.
• Track KPIs, monitor health and long-term viability of the product, evaluate changes.
