Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance’s U.S. Operations Data Office seeks a Data Steward (Director I Level) to lead data transformation for the Personal Lines data domain, guiding analytics, governance, and modernization to accelerate our unified insurance platform.

Based in Columbus, OH or nearby, you will coordinate priorities across stakeholders, drive data policies, and support adoption of a modern tech stack with regulatory compliance. Hybrid work two days in office weekly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Agile practices.
• 7–10+ years in data management, data warehousing, or unstructured data environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead data transformation efforts for a unified insurance platform.
• Coordinate priorities across stakeholder teams in Data Office.
• Guide modernization of Product, Pricing, and UW systems on new tech stack.
• Classify and protect data per regulatory guidelines.
• Define and govern data policy and methodologies.
• Advise Agile squads to implement solutions.
