Liberty Mutual is seeking a Director-level Data Steward for the Personal Lines Product, Pricing & Underwriting data domain. The role leads data transformation efforts to enable a unified insurance platform, coordinating priorities across the Data Office and USRM teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business or technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree preferred
• Strategic mindset and ability to operate under broad guidance
• Excellent communicator and collaborator
• Familiarity with Agile practices and data modeling concepts
• 5+ years technical expertise with Kafka, data vault, and data warehousing
• 7+ years manipulating and querying data and understanding complex data models
• Experience with quote/policy data lifecycle and financial premium/loss data
• Experience with transformation to Guidewire PolicyCenter or similar cloud tech

Responsibilities

• Refine and maintain a data roadmap for a unified insurance platform.
• Translate high-level plans into actionable epics with product owners.
• Guide modernization of Product/Pricing/UW systems onto a new tech stack.
• Classify and protect data per regulatory guidelines.
• Define and govern data policy and methodologies.
• Engage stakeholders to assess needs and advise Agile squads.
