Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Product Owner to define the product vision and strategy, manage lifecycle from concept to launch, and maximize value from the dev team. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and lead cross-functional collaboration to deliver high-quality software.

The role emphasizes agile practices, market research, and strong communication with stakeholders and teams across engineering, design, and QA.

Qualifications

• Must have 14 years of related experience.
• Must have 5 years' experience supporting the mission.
• Bachelor's degree with 4 years experience can substitute for an Associate's degree.
• Bachelor's Degree and 5 years additional related work experience may substitute for a Master's degree.
• TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Proven experience as Product Owner/Manager or similar role.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and SDLC.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Ability to translate customer needs into technical requirements.
• Familiarity with market research and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and manage the product roadmap.
• Create and maintain the product backlog with user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize features based on business value and needs.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA for timely delivery.
• Serve as liaison between stakeholders and the development team.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions.
• Analyze feedback and data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Communicate vision, strategy, and progress to stakeholders.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues impacting delivery.
