Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a Product Owner who will define the product vision, manage the lifecycle from concept to launch, and maximize value from the development team. You will work closely with stakeholders, customers, and the Government/SETA Product Manager to translate operational needs into deliverable features.

Qualifications

• Minimum 14 years of experience with 5+ years in Product Owner or similar role.
• Certified SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager or willingness to obtain within 90 days.
• Deep understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies.
• Active TS/SCI clearance; U.S. citizen.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management with technical background.

Responsibilities

• Define and prioritize user stories in the team backlog.
• Decompose features into implementable stories with acceptance criteria.
• Participate in backlog refinement sessions (minimum bi-weekly).
• Collaborate with Government/SETA Product Manager on feature definition.
• Accept or reject completed work based on Definition of Done.
• Participate in SAFe ceremonies (PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Reviews).
• Translate Operational Needs from FARWG into Epics/Features.
• Maintain product roadmap aligned with program objectives.
• Ensure stories deliver value and manage dependencies across teams.
