Job summary

Nightwing Group is seeking a Product Owner based onsite at Fort George G. Meade, MD, to define product vision and manage lifecycle from concept to launch.

You will translate business needs into actionable requirements and work closely with engineering, QA, and design to ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Qualifications include 14+ years of related experience, 5+ years supporting the mission, and TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.

Qualifications

• Must have 14 years of related experience.
• Must have 5 years’ experience supporting the mission.
• A Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years additional related work experience may substitute for a Master’s degree.
• TS/SCI Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager.
• Strong understanding of agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and manage the product roadmap.
• Create and maintain the product backlog, including user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize features based on value, customer needs, and goals.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, and QA for timely delivery.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform decisions.
• Analyze user feedback and data to identify improvements and new features.
• Participate in agile ceremonies like sprint planning and reviews.
• Communicate vision and progress to stakeholders and team members.
• Mitigate risks and resolve issues impacting delivery.
