Job summary

Biorce, an Austin-based healthtech company, seeks a Product Owner to lead an AI-driven clinical trials tool. You will own the vision, roadmap, and commercial outcomes for a portfolio-driven product, partnering with AI engineers, designers, and a scientific lead.

This hands-on role emphasizes rapid cycles, prototype work with Claude, and close collaboration with biostatisticians and trial teams to translate customer needs into precise PRDs and shippable demos.

Qualifications

• 4+ years building product, with at least one product taken 0-to-1 to real users.
• Proven shipping velocity in a fast-moving environment; experience in pharma-tech is a plus.
• Ownership of technical product decisions, with accountability for engineering outcomes, without being an engineer.
• Demonstrated ability to vibe code with Claude or equivalent AI coding tools. You have shipped working prototypes.
• Comfort operating inside a multi-product portfolio, with the judgement to prioritise where impact is highest.
• Excellent written communication; you can turn an ambiguous problem into a spec a team can build from without a follow-up meeting.

Responsibilities

• Own Product Vision & Strategy: Define and drive the roadmap and long-term vision.
• Author the Requirements: Write the PRD as the single source of truth.
• Build and Ship: Prototype with the Designer and Scientific Lead, deliver a demoable product.
• Partner on Accuracy: Work with AI Engineers on measurable model improvement.
• Lead Cross-Functional Delivery: Align Engineering, Design, and Science across the Sigma portfolio.
• Champion Customer Focus: Run discovery with biostatisticians and trial design teams.
• Drive Market & Competitive Insight: Own competitive analysis and positioning.
• Own Product Performance: Manage technical KPIs and business outcomes.
• Own Go-to-Market: Set GTM strategy and coordinate launches.
• Adapt to Change: Thrive in a fast-moving environment and drive to completion.
