Job summary
Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Product Owner/Project Manager to lead product backlog planning and work with software teams in an Agile environment.
You will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards, collaborating closely with the Scrum Team and Technical Product Management. Based in Dallas, TX, you will shape product vision, prioritize features, and drive versions with a focus on real-world data and AI-enabled solutions across Caterpillar’s technology
Qualifications
- 5+ years of direct product ownership experience with software teams in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of vehicle simulation, sensor simulation, terrain simulation, scenario generation, digital twins, simulation services, and validation.
- Extensive experience using Azure DevOps is REQUIRED.
- PMP certification (Nice to Have)
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) desired
- Knowledge of Confluence desired
- Knowledge of Power BI is desired
Responsibilities
- Serve as Product Owner, ensuring on-time, on-budget, error-free project delivery.
- Manage planning and execution of project team members.
- Collaborate with Scrum Team and Technical Product Management to create and prioritize Product Backlog.
- Communicate backlog priorities to the team and align with business value.
- Decide on features and convey the product vision to the team.
- Guide backlog creation and maintenance across the project lifecycle.
