Job summary

Leidos is seeking a passionate Product Owner to lead a portfolio of technology-enabled continuous improvement initiatives for internal operations and DoD customers. Focus areas include Splunk capabilities, automation, AI, and ML to drive measurable value.

You will manage product development workflows in Azure DevOps and participate in SAFe/Agile ceremonies, collaborating with architects, developers, and DoD stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements and prioritized

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Engineering, Business, Information Systems).
• 8+ years of combined experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role with Agile teams.
• Experience managing work in Azure DevOps or Jira and familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance, is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog using Jira and/or Azure DevOps to ensure alignment with organizational priorities and strategic objectives
• Write clear, actionable user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria that enable development teams to deliver value incrementally
• Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap that supports the transition from reactive to proactive network management
• Partner with solution architects, software developers, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal operations teams and DoD customers
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and development teams, ensuring clear communication of priorities and expectations
• Conduct regular stakeholder reviews and demos to gather feedback and validate solution direction
• Manage competing priorities and make data-driven decisions on feature prioritization
• Actively participate in Agile Release Train (ART) and PI planning; SAFe ceremonies
