Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Product Owner - AI to join a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This remote role partners with product management and technical teams to shape AI-enabled work and translate business needs into actionable requirements.

You will maintain backlog readiness, validate solutions, and communicate risks to stakeholders; location is Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship. Compensation ranges from $110,000 to $130,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
• Five years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience, required.
• Experience in business analysis, requirements definition, or product delivery required.
• Preferred experience in claims, insurance, healthcare, or other regulated environments.
• Familiarity with agile delivery practices and backlog management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers to refine and prioritize the backlog.
• Define development-ready user stories and requirements from epics and features.
• Execute product manager responsibilities to ensure product continuity.
• Work with development teams to clarify stories and align them with business outcomes.
• Validate solutions by supporting User Acceptance Testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Track delivery and report on risks, dependencies, and performance to stakeholders.
• Translate AI/ML capabilities into actionable backlog items in partnership with technical teams.

This role will partner closely with product management and technical teams to shape and prioritize AI-enabled work that moves through delivery with clarity and speed. You will translate business needs into actionable requirements, support backlog readiness, and help ensure development efforts stay aligned to intended outcomes. The position also plays an important role in maintaining continuity across product work, validating solutions, and communicating delivery risks and dependencies to stakeholders.

Compensation: $110,000 – $130,000 annually
