Job summary

Cyrillic Software in the United States is seeking a Product Owner who can translate business needs into clear development priorities and deliver valuable software solutions.

You will work with stakeholders, product managers, designers, and engineering teams to ensure the team understands what to build, why it matters, and how success will be measured. This role rewards clear communication and Agile collaboration.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner or in a product-focused role.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum in particular.
• Experience managing product backlogs and writing user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog based on business value, customer needs, and project objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and clarify requirements from clients and other stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable development tasks.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, QA engineers, and project stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and daily stand-ups as needed.
• Answer questions and resolve ambiguities so the development team can work efficiently.
• Review completed work and confirm that deliverables meet the agreed requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate priorities, scope changes, dependencies, and potential risks to relevant stakeholders.
• Help ensure that delivered features align with business goals and provide value to end users.
