Job summary

Spyrosoft Ltd in the United States is seeking an experienced Product Owner / Business Analyst to lead a cross-functional team building a next-generation ERP and Accounting platform. You will maximize value by translating complex accounting, financial, and operational workflows into clear product requirements, a prioritized backlog, and actionable development initiatives.

Qualifications

2+ years as Product Owner or 3–5 years in BA/PO in Scrum environment
Experience delivering IT/software products, ERP/accounting domain preferred
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and software lifecycle
Experience with cross-functional and distributed teams
Collaboration with accountants, finance controllers, auditors
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear product requirements
Experience creating high-quality user stories, acceptance criteria and product documentation
Strong prioritization and decision-making, capable of trade-offs and managing uncertainty
Ability to work independently with transparency and alignment
Experience with Azure DevOps and Miro
Proficiency in using AI tools in daily work
Familiarity with UX and user-centered development
Understanding of API-based systems in ERP ecosystems
Data-driven product development and decisions

Responsibilities

Define and scope upcoming implementation phases with finance SMEs
Translate business needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and documentation
Communicate and support product vision, strategy and roadmap
Prioritize and manage the product backlog balancing value, needs, constraints and risks
Build alignment across stakeholders and drive decisions for next work
Collaborate with client, development team, UX/UI, QA and Scrum Master throughout the lifecycle
Accept or reject completed work based on criteria
Support testing and validation to ensure quality
Introduce new domains and phases using BDD and structured examples
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews and demos
Identify dependencies and mitigate delivery risks
Report outcomes to stakeholders and maintain roadmap transparency
Use data and KPIs to drive improvements aligned with client
