Job summary

Flex is building an AI-native private bank for super premium, closely held business owners. You will own the Accountants Stack, integrating QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, and other ERP tools to streamline accounting, expense management, and payables for bookkeepers, controllers, and CPAs.

You will partner with Banking, Credit, Cards, and Payments to ensure clean, end-to-end financial data flows and deliver an integrated owner experience across business and personal finance.

Qualifications

• Deep familiarity with at least two of: QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica.
• You understand accrual vs cash basis, the close cycle, and 1 transaction journaling without lookup.
• You have built products for bookkeepers, controllers, or CPAs and understand their workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define the strategy and own the connectivity layer to the accounting and ERP systems used by accountants (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, etc.).
• Build expense management integrated with accounting tools and automated reconciliation.
• Own bill pay and AR/AP end-to-end with full reconciliation to the accounting system.
• Build the invoicing product and determine its shape and shipping.
• Architect the link between business and personal financial data to deliver a cohesive owner/accountant experience.
• Collaborate with Banking, Credit, Cards, and Payments product owners to ensure seamless financial data flows.
• Translate the owner/accountant needs to the rest of the company so the product speaks both languages.
