Job description

· Understand and document the business requirements for projects, working closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.

· Work with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, PMO, and Release Management, to ensure that product features are delivered on time and meet customer needs.

· Define and prioritize project features and user stories, ensuring effective communication to the development team.

· Monitor product performance and customer feedback during lab and field trial phases; make data-driven decisions to improve features and customer satisfaction.

· Participate in Safe Agile ceremonies, including Program Increment (PI) planning, Sprint planning, and Sprint reviews.

· Collaborate with the Scrum Master to ensure clarity of the product backlog and priorities for the development team.

· Continuously refine and prioritize the product backlog based on feedback and evolving business needs.

· Create project documentation for review by customers, technicians, and internal helpdesk.

· Ability to understand technical terms related to the product domain and communicate effectively at both technical and business levels.

· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.

· Outstanding communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

· 3-5 years of experience as a product owner.

· 3+ years of experience in the applicable domain.

· Experience working deeply within the product domain is highly desirable.

· Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

· Experience with Safe Agile practices and frameworks, including SAFe 5.0.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

· Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· Prior experience as a software developer or in software testing is desired but not required.

· Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and leaders from other functional areas in a collaborative manner.

· Experience working with globally distributed teams.
