Job summary

Anaqua is expanding its development capability in Hyderabad and seeks a delivery-focused Product Owner to partner with engineering squads building RightHub. You will translate roadmap priorities and customer needs into clear backlog items, working with global Product Managers to ensure the why is understood by the team.

This role bridges product strategy and engineering execution. You will own the backlog, write user stories, collaborate with stakeholders across time zones, and drive acceptance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Owner/Business Analyst/Product Manager roles in software products.
• Experience collaborating with software engineering teams in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Ability to translate roadmap priorities into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong analytical skills for understanding complex workflows and data.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, or IP software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the backlog for RightHub squads, turning priorities into actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the primary local product contact for developers, QA, and tech leads, removing blockers.
• Write clear functional requirements, flows, and edge cases; validate work against acceptance criteria.
• Build understanding of RightHub platform and IP workflows (patents/trademarks/docketing).
• Collaborate with global PMs and leadership to communicate progress, risks, and scope changes.

Anaqua is expanding its development capability in Hyderabad and is looking for a delivery-focused Product Owner to act as the day-to-day product partner for engineering squads building RightHub. In this role, you will translate roadmap priorities and customer needs into clear, actionable backlog items, working closely with global Product Managers to ensure the team understands not only what to build, but why. This role bridges product strategy and engineering execution.

• Own and manage the product backlog for one or more RightHub engineering squads, translating priorities into well-structured user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Serve as the primary local product contact for developers, QA engineers, and technical leads, clarifying requirements and removing product-related blockers.
• Write clear functional requirements, process flows, and edge-case scenarios, validating completed work against acceptance criteria before release.
• Build a strong understanding of the RightHub platform and IP management processes, including patents, trademarks, and docketing workflows.
• Collaborate with global Product Managers and Product Leadership, communicating development progress, risks, and scope changes to stakeholders.
• Support engineering in making sensible trade-offs between customer value, technical feasibility, and delivery timelines.
• Participate in sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives, supporting a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.
• Act as a key connector between the Hyderabad engineering team and global product stakeholders as the team scales.

What You’ll Need To Be Successful:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or Product Manager in a software product environment.
• Strong experience working directly with software engineering teams in an Agile/Scrum delivery model.
• Ability to write clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and functional requirements.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex workflows, data structures, and business rules.
• Excellent communication skills, explaining product needs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, legal technology, or intellectual property software; familiarity with patent/trademark processes valuable but not required.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones, with experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, Figma, or Miro.
• Delivery-focused and pragmatic, with a structured approach to turning ambiguity into clarity and strong ownership of outcomes.
