Job summary

Cognizant in the United States seeks a Native AI developer to build AI-native applications, copilots, and intelligent agents that integrate with enterprise data and APIs.

You will design RAG pipelines, work with LLMs like GPT, Claude, Gemini, and Llama, and collaborate with business and engineering teams to deliver scalable AI solutions.

The role includes optimizing models for performance and cost, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to deploy in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Knowledge of RAG, vector databases, embeddings, and semantic search.
• Experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Semantic Kernel.
• Understanding of AI agent development and orchestration.
• Experience with REST APIs, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.

Salary And Other Compensation

The annual salary for this position is between $100K-150Kdepending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
