Accion Labs in Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Senior Product Owner to support enterprise modernization initiatives. You will gather requirements, manage the backlog, and drive Agile delivery across multiple teams in a telecom-related environment.

This 12-month contract offers hybrid work with four days onsite in Pittsburgh, collaborating with stakeholders and leadership to ensure successful migrations and delivery milestones.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to support enterprise application modernization and migration initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements gathering, backlog management, stakeholder engagement, and Agile delivery within a telecom or related environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and gather business requirements for existing applications and modules.
• Define, document, and manage user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria.
• Own and prioritize product backlogs to align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to ensure successful project execution.
• Support migration and modernization initiatives involving service management and workflow platforms.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release activities.
• Track project progress and communicate risks, dependencies, and status updates.

Required Skills

• Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Hands-on experience managing and prioritizing product backlogs.
• Experience with JIRA and Agile project management tools.
• Experience with ServiceNow OR SiteTracker OR Salesforce (Nice to Have)
• Excellent requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience leading and coordinating multiple teams.
