Job summary

EPITEC in Omaha is seeking a Product Owner to collaborate with clients, architects, and teams in a fast-paced environment. This is a 12-month contract with potential to hire, onsite in Omaha NE and Denver CO. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in product ownership/management in technical environments, strong Agile/Scrum/SAFe, cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP), excellent communication, and stakeholder management.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with technical architects, business resources, and clients to drive decisions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with or within government systems or regulated environments.
• Background in enterprise SaaS or platform products.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Education: Preferred - bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, Software Engineering, or similar.
