ApTask is seeking a Senior Product Owner to drive Agile Release Train delivery in a SAFe environment. You will manage the team backlog, write user stories, and ensure value delivery aligns with the product vision and roadmap defined by the Product Manager.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PO/PM roles, strong Agile/Scrum and SAFe experience, and a track record working with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Government and enterprise SaaS familiarity is a plus.

We are seeking a highly skilled and collaborative Senior Product Owner to support Agile Release Train (ART) delivery within a SAFe environment. This role is responsible for managing the team backlog, defining user stories, and ensuring the development team delivers value aligned with the product vision and roadmap defined by the Product Manager. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, deep Agile experience, and a solid understanding of cloud technologies. Experience with government systems is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to understand the product vision, roadmap, and features.
• Own and manage the team backlog; prioritize user stories to maximize value delivery.
• Define clear and actionable user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Participate in PI (Program Increment) planning, system demos, and inspect & adapt workshops.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure alignment and clarity on requirements.
• Serve as the voice of the customer within the Agile team, ensuring solutions meet business needs.
• Support cross-functional collaboration across teams and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in a technical environment.
• Strong proficiency in Agile/Scrum and SAFe methodologies.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work with technical architects, business resources, and clients to drive decisions.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with or within government systems or regulated environments.
• Background in enterprise SaaS or platform products.
• SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager certification or equivalent.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Education: Preferred - bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Information Systems, Project Management, Software Engineering, or similar.
