Qualifications

  • Experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • Experience with enterprise data products, data platforms, or analytics initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe methodologies.
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and decision‑making capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize competing initiatives and manage multiple projects.

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the backlog for enterprise data products and initiatives.

  • Establish sprint goals and ensure delivery of business value.
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, and roadmap to teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, provide updates on delivery, risks, and dependencies.
  • Partner with Scrum Masters, engineers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high‑quality solutions.
  • Review and approve completed work to meet business requirements and quality.
  • Identify and manage cross‑functional dependencies to support delivery.
  • Promote Agile best practices and continuous improvement.

Kforce's client in Memphis, TN is seeking an experienced Product Owner, Enterprise Data to drive the delivery and evolution of enterprise data products that support critical business initiatives. Summary: This individual will partner closely with business stakeholders, product leadership, data teams, and technology partners to define priorities, manage backlogs, and deliver high-value data solutions in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate combines strong business acumen with a deep understanding of enterprise data platforms, enabling them to translate complex requirements into actionable user stories that maximize business value. What You'll Do:

  • Product Owner will own and prioritize the product backlog for enterprise data products and initiatives
  • Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and translate them into user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and story development activities
  • Establish sprint goals and help ensure the team remains focused on delivering business value
  • Communicate product vision, priorities, and roadmap to development teams and stakeholders
  • As a Product Owner, you will monitor progress and provide updates on delivery, risks, and dependencies
  • Partner with Scrum Masters, engineers, architects, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions

Requirements
  • Experience serving as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an Agile environment
  • Experience managing or supporting enterprise data products, data platforms, analytics solutions, or data-focused initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, Kanban, and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodologies
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to prioritize competing initiatives and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proven ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with modern enterprise data platforms, data governance initiatives, or analytics ecosystems
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives
  • Background collaborating with data engineers, architects, analytics teams, or cloud-based data environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
