Optomi, in partnership with a leading enterprise organization, is seeking a Product Owner who is ready to take meaningful ownership of what gets built. You’ll sit at the center of a high-impact product environment, partnering with business and technology leaders to turn complex needs and opportunities into clear product priorities, roadmaps, and solutions that make it into production.
This is a role with a lot of autonomy and visibility. You’ll help shape the direction of the product, work closely with cross-functional delivery teams, and use customer insights, business needs, and data to determine what should come next. The team moves quickly and has an entrepreneurial mindset, so success requires someone who is comfortable navigating ambiguity, solving problems independently, and bringing structure to complex situations.
What You’ll Own:
- Define and drive the product roadmap based on business priorities, user needs, and technical considerations.
- Translate complex business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and actionable product priorities.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog while keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Partner with business leaders, technology teams, developers, designers, and analysts to move ideas from concept through delivery.
- Gather user and stakeholder feedback and use data, KPIs, and research to guide product decisions.
- Communicate product priorities, timelines, tradeoffs, and roadmap decisions across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Bring structure to ambiguous problems and help shape both short-term delivery and long-term product direction.
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Product Analyst, or similar product-focused role.
- Proven experience owning products or capabilities from planning through delivery and ongoing enhancement.
- Ability to turn complex business problems into clear product priorities and solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across both business and technology teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and analysts.
- Strong Agile experience with hands‑on ownership of roadmaps, backlogs, requirements, and delivery.
- Comfortable working autonomously, navigating ambiguity, and making decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience using data, KPIs, user feedback, or research to influence product decisions.
- Utility or energy industry experience is a plus.
