Product Marketing Specialist:
The Product Marketing Specialist supports the Solutions Marketing team in delivering high-quality marketing content and ensuring operational efficiency across multiple workstreams. This role combines content coordination, project management, and compliance awareness to ensure the accuracy, relevance, and timeliness of marketing deliverables. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing cross-functional inputs, making them a vital connector for achieving go-to-market success.
This is a remote position, EST time zone preferred, CST considered.
Product Marketing Specialist Responsibilities:
In this role, the individual is responsible for managing and updating marketing content, including product briefs and bills of materials, ensuring that all assets reflect the most current release information, competitive intelligence, and regional nuances such as EU-specific data or VAT localization needs. They support the initial review and quality control of marketing materials before they are sent to solution marketing and collaborate with internal teams—such as Sales Enablement, Customer Success, and Support—to refine FAQs and content relevance.
The specialist plays a central role in maintaining structured project tracking and delivery accountability across the solutions marketing function. They compile notes and action items from cross-functional team (CFT) meetings and communicate summaries to directors and stakeholders. They also manage project workbooks, maintain delivery calendars, and trigger timely reminders for key milestones, such as release brief deadlines or asset review cycles. In parallel, they help inventory and assess the marketing asset library, flagging outdated or missing content and helping to close those gaps.
From a compliance and market intelligence standpoint, the specialist monitors regulatory changes and industry conversations (e.g., in LinkedIn groups or forums like CIOT), turning insights into actionable updates for the SMM team. They track competitor activity and help prepare materials for compliance-focused webinars and internal training.
Additionally, the specialist offers campaign support by conducting early assessments of campaign assets, collaborating with Marketing Ops to build performance reports, and coordinating with regional teams—particularly in Europe—to support localized execution. They ensure the SMM team stays informed of upcoming campaign activities and can align messaging accordingly.
