Job summary

Cursor is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to translate deeply technical products into clear, compelling stories for developers. You will work across product, engineering, and GTM to shape what we build and how we bring it to market, influencing product direction and positioning.

You’ll own launches, craft developer-focused narratives, and collaborate with sales and developer relations to meet customer needs and objections.

Qualifications

3+ years in product marketing or related roles in developer tools or SaaS.
Strong technical intuition; can understand developer tools and communicate to a technical audience.
Excellent product instincts and ability to engage in product discussions and push back thoughtfully.
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts.
High ownership: drive projects from idea to execution to iteration.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end go-to-market strategy for new features and major releases.
Develop clear, differentiated positioning for Cursor and its features.
Create developer-focused content (guides, use cases, comparisons).
Translate product capabilities into compelling messaging for sales and GTM teams.
Identify new channels to reach developers and improve activation and retention messaging.
Talk to users to understand needs, objections, and market shifts.
