Product Marketing Manager

Blackpoint Cyber is the leading provider of world-class cybersecurity threat hunting, detection and remediation technology. Founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts who applied their learnings to bring national security-grade technology solutions to commercial customers around the world, Blackpoint Cyber is in hyper-growth mode, fueled by a recent $190m series C round.

Why Blackpoint?

Ready to give some hackers hell? On the Blackpoint Cyber Team, we win the unfair fight while helping others protect what’s most important to them. Simply put, our team takes out the adversaries before they see us coming. Join us today and help put the bad guys in their place for good. Blackpoint Cyber was built by former US Department of Defense and Intelligence security experts focused on stopping malicious tradecraft and safeguarding MSP operations. Our mission? Provide absolute and unified Managed Detection and Response services to organizations across the world.

Company Culture

On this team, we value high-quality execution, ownership, and strong morals. With us, principles are never tested, and we are proud to always do right by our customers. If you’re a driven professional with a passion for learning and contributing towards the best, then Blackpoint welcomes you. Our team is energetic and collaborative, maintaining a high-performance culture and enabling growth through overcoming challenges in the modern cyber threat landscape.

About the Role

As a Product Marketing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping how our cybersecurity products and services are positioned, understood, and adopted by the market. Working closely with the Head of Product Marketing, you’ll help translate complex technical capabilities into clear, compelling messaging for a range of audiences, including both internal Blackpoint teams, such as sales and marketing, and external audiences ranging from CEOs to frontline IT technicians. You'll partner across product management, sales, customer success, and enablement teams to launch new products, create go-to-market strategies, develop sales and training collateral, and support our demand generation efforts. This is a highly collaborative and strategic role that blends technical understanding, storytelling, market insight, and execution to drive product awareness, education, and adoption in a highly competitive, fast-growing market.

Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Planning – Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature releases, including positioning, messaging, and launch plans in partnership with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams.

  • Messaging and Positioning – Craft compelling, customer-centric messaging and positioning that clearly communicates the unique benefits of Blackpoint’s products and services across different buyer personas.

  • Sales & Marketing Enablement – Create and maintain high-impact product marketing assets—including pitch decks, one-pagers, battlecards, website content, and product videos—to support sales and customer engagement.

  • Internal Education & Enablement – Educate internal teams (Sales, Support, Enablement, etc.) on new product capabilities and market positioning through trainings, presentations, internal documentation, and workshops.

  • External Content Development – Collaborate with the Marketing team to develop external-facing content such as product announcements, blog posts, webinars, case studies, and email campaigns to drive awareness and adoption.

  • Customer Engagement & Feedback – Regularly meet with customers and partners to gather feedback, validate messaging, and stay aligned with evolving business needs and use cases in the cybersecurity space.

  • Competitive Intelligence & Analysis – Conduct in-depth competitive intelligence to understand the cybersecurity landscape, identify key differentiators, and provide insights that inform product strategy and sales enablement.

  • Event and Tradeshow Speaking – Speak at industry events, webinars, and trade shows to promote Blackpoint’s platform, articulate our unique value propositions, and build brand awareness within the cybersecurity and managed service provider (MSP) communities.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in product marketing, product management, customer success, or sales engineering roles within the cybersecurity industry.

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, concepts, and market trends—including common tools, frameworks, and buyer personas; must be capable of intelligently evaluating Blackpoint’s offerings relative to competitors and articulating how our platform fits into modern security strategies.

  • Proven ability to lead small to medium cross-functional projects with minimal oversight; highly self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of crafting clear, concise, and compelling content for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Demonstrated experience engaging directly with customers, partners, or external stakeholders via webinars, presentations, events, or training sessions.

  • Comfortable working across departments (Product, Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Success) to gather input, build alignment, and drive initiatives to completion.

  • Strong analytical and research skills; able to synthesize market, customer, and competitive insights into actionable strategies and messaging.

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Information Security) is preferred. An MBA or other relevant graduate education is a plus but not required.

Blackpoint Cyber welcomes and encourages applications from qualified individuals of all races, colors, religions, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, marital status, or any other legally protected status. We are committed to equality of opportunity in all aspects of employment. For eligible employees in the US, Blackpoint offers competitive Health, Vision, Dental, and Life Insurance plans, a robust 401k plan, Discretionary Time Off, and other minor perks.
