Overview

Base pay range: $40.00/hr - $42.00/hr. Pay range (On W2) and duration: Contract role with possible extension or temp to hire for the right candidate. Schedule: Monday through Friday 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM (3 days onsite/2 days remote). Location: Portland, OR (onsite/remote mix as stated). This Product Marketing position is responsible for driving the adoption and growth of a defined product portfolio and acting as the voice of the customer throughout the sales to implementation journey. It requires conducting research to understand customer needs, journeys, and competitive landscape to develop go-to-market strategies and messaging that empower sales and marketing teams to communicate product value. The role involves becoming a subject matter expert in the technology category and the market segment it serves.

Responsibilities
  • Own product marketing responsibility for multiple products or a single portfolio, acting as the evangelist for assigned products by understanding and communicating buyer/user needs and the product value proposition.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with product management, sales, marketing, and learning and enablement teams to execute go-to-market strategies, product launches, and research initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans, including facilitating cross-functional meetings and ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Develop differentiated messaging and value propositions for the structural engineering market, including positioning statements, messaging framework, persona profiles, firmographics, technographics, and psychographic insights from field learnings.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, buyer personas, and the competitive landscape to inform strategy and strengthen the portfolio.
  • Influence and execute product pricing and packaging decisions.
  • Partner with the learning and enablement team to develop and deliver product sales enablement materials and courses for assigned products.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute marketing deliverables that articulate value propositions and drive pipeline and bookings.
  • Understand the competitive landscape and articulate key differentiators for the assigned products.
  • Operate independently and manage multiple projects while applying product marketing best practices and principles.
