Job summary

MotherDuck is seeking a Product Marketer to turn engineering work into clear stories for developers and data teams. You’ll own positioning, write pages and emails, and collaborate with product, sales, and leadership to keep messaging fresh as the product evolves.

You’ll build web assets, battlecards, and launch plans, stay close to customers and competitors, and guide launches end-to-end from Strategizing to shipping. This role can be based in Seattle, San Francisco, or New York City.

Qualifications

• 3 to 10 years in product marketing, ideally at a B2B software or developer-focused company.
• Excellent writing that lands technical ideas in one sentence.
• Strong knack for positioning with measurable market impact.
• Experience building web pages and landing pages and shipping them yourself.
• Proven track record of sales enablement that sales teams actually use.
• Genuine curiosity about technical products and AI fluency.

Responsibilities

• Write website copy, landing pages, launch posts, product one-pagers and emails.
• Shape how we tell our story with product, sales, and leadership.
• Build web assets, demos, and interactive assets, with AI tools.
• Arm the sales team with battlecards, decks, and objections handling.
• Run launches end to end with cross-functional teams.
• Stay close to customers and market, tracking competitors and trends.
