Job description

Product Marketing Lead

TylSemi, Inc. San Jose, California, United States

About this position

About TYLsemi, Inc. The Opportunity

The AI infrastructure market is exploding. Every hyperscaler, every cloud provider, every AI company is building custom silicon. But they all face the same problem: how do you connect hundreds of chips, deliver clean power at scale, and move terabits of data without melting the package?

That's what we solve. TYLsemi builds the chiplet infrastructure IP— the IO, power delivery, and interconnect building blocks — that makes AI/HPC systems actually work at scale.

This isn't a nice-to-have. It's the critical path.

Why Now – The Market Window

The semiconductor industry is going through its biggest architectural shift in 40 years:

  • Moore's Law is dead.2nm and beyond delivers marginal performance gains. The future is chiplets, not monolithic dies.
  • Custom silicon is now mainstream.Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, OpenAI — they're all designing their own ASICs. The $100B+ custom silicon market is growing 30% annually.
  • IO and power are the bottleneck.Solve hard problems and provide something which is a category in itself.

Translation:We're entering the market at exactly the moment when every major AI/HPC player needs what we're building, and their alternatives are disappearing.

Culture & Team: How We Work

No Politics, No Bureaucracy

  • If you have an idea, we test it. If it works, we ship it.
  • No endless meetings, no PowerPoint presentations to convince middle management.
Remote-Friendly, Global Team
  • US team: Bay Area preferred, but we hire the best people regardless of location
  • India team: Building a world-class design center in Bangalore

We're not a research project. We have paying customers, committed capital, and aggressive timelines.

This is a company, not a lifestyle business. We're building to win.

What We Value
  • Ownership mindset. You're not here to execute someone else's roadmap. You're here to define it.
  • Bias for action. We move fast. Analysis paralysis doesn't fly here.
  • Deep technical expertise. This is hard engineering. We need people who've shipped real silicon and debugged real hardware.
  • Low ego, high standards. We don't care about titles or politics. We care about results.
The Ask

We're asking you to walk away from that and bet on us.

Here's why you should:

  • The market is real.AI infrastructure spending is $200B+ annually and growing 40% YoY. Every hyperscaler needs what we're building.
  • The team has done this before. We've built and exited semiconductor companies at scale. This isn't our first rodeo.
  • The traction is de-risked.We have LOIs, strategic investors, and a clear path to revenue.
  • The work is consequential. You're not optimizing someone's ad click-through rate. You're building the silicon infrastructure that powers AI.

This is the bet. Join us and build something that matters.

Or stay comfortable. No judgment.

But if you're the kind of person who wants to take the shot, we'd love to talk.

About the role

TYLsemi is looking for a Product Marketing leader who can translate complex chiplet and custom silicon technology into clear, compelling narratives for hyperscalers, AI infrastructure builders, and custom silicon teams. You will own the messaging, positioning, and go-to-market strategy for TYLsemi's chiplet portfolio and TYL.Forge custom silicon platform. This role sits at the intersection of deep technical understanding and strategic marketing. You will work directly with the Executive team and Functional Leaders to define how TYLsemi shows up in the market — at customers, partners, ecosystem, industry events...

What you'll do

Product Positioning & Messaging

  • Own the messaging and positioning for TYLsemi's chiplet portfolio — connectivity (TYL·IO), power delivery (TYL·Power), and custom silicon platform (TYL·Forge)
  • Develop audience-specific messaging for hyperscalers, AI chip startups, and custom silicon teams
  • Translate complex semiconductor architecture into clear, compelling value propositions that resonate with both technical and business audiences
  • Maintain and evolve the messaging framework as products and market conditions develop

Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Define and execute go-to-market plans for new product introductions and platform launches
  • Partner with the team to develop customer-facing materials — datasheets, solution briefs, pitch decks, and competitive battlecards
  • Build and maintain competitive intelligence on the chiplet and custom silicon landscape
  • Identify and prioritize market segments and customer personas for each product line

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Write and produce technical content — white papers, application notes, blog posts, and website copy — that establishes TYLsemi as a category leader
  • Develop executive presentation content for investor briefings, analyst meetings, and industry keynotes
  • Build and manage a content calendar aligned to product milestones, industry events, and media opportunities
  • Partner with PR and communications partners to amplify TYLsemi's presence across trade media, analyst firms, and social channels
Qualifications

Required

  • 10+ years of product marketing experience in semiconductors, EDA/IP, or related deep tech — with demonstrated success marketing to technical buyers
  • Deep understanding of the AI silicon ecosystem — hyperscaler silicon teams, custom ASIC programs, and the chiplet/advanced packaging landscape
  • Strong technical foundation — comfortable discussing UCIe, PCIe, heterogeneous integration, and power delivery at an architecture level
  • Proven ability to create compelling messaging and content that resonates with both engineers and executives
  • Excellent written communication — you can write a crisp 300-word product brief and a 3,000-word white paper with equal skill
  • Located in or willing to relocate to the San Francisco Bay Area

Preferred

  • Prior experience at a chiplet, advanced packaging, or AI silicon company
  • Familiarity with UCIe/PCIe/Ethernet standards, CoWoS/advanced packaging, and multi-die integration architectures
  • Experience marketing to hyperscaler silicon teams, AI accelerator companies, or custom ASIC customers
  • Existing relationships with semiconductor trade press and analyst community
  • Experience building a product marketing function from scratch at an early-stage company
  • MBA or equivalent — not required, but valued

The total compensation range for this role is: 200,000.00-350,000.00USD per year (San Jose (HQ))
