Job summary

PhoenixTeam is hiring a Product Manager to modernize the VA Loan Guaranty (LGY) portfolio. You will translate policy, statute, and stakeholder needs into a prioritized backlog and a reliable 30-day release cadence.

You will partner with an Enterprise Solutions Architect, Engineering Lead, and DevSecOps Lead to decide what gets built and in what order, balancing regulatory constraints with business value. 100% remote US-based role with 40 hours/week.

Qualifications

• Evidence-driven product work on complex enterprise software.
• Housing finance domain fluency and ability to hold stakeholders across policy, lenders, and VA staff.

Responsibilities

• Turn business needs and policy changes into refined, traceable user stories with acceptance criteria.
• Drive intake to executable plans in days, scoped and estimated with architecture and engineering.
• Own the roadmap across modernization, sustainment, and decommissioning to keep predictable delivery.
• Balance configuration-first solutions with when to fight for custom exceptions.
• Anchor prioritization on analytics and operational metrics to guide releases.
