Job summary

Binance is seeking a product leader to define and drive the roadmap for backend trading systems. You will improve matching engines, risk engines, and derivatives pricing models while collaborating with trading engineering teams to translate complex trading needs into robust technical solutions.

Lead the full product lifecycle, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial products like Margin, Futures and Options.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to translate trading logic and risk concepts into product requirements.
• Background in CS, Financial Engineering, or Math.
• Mandarin proficiency is a plus for coordination with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Set the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.

• Improve core systems like matching engine, risk engines, pricing models for derivatives products including but not limited to Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts etc.

• Work with the trading engineering teams to turn complex trading needs into technical solutions.

• Lead the full product lifecycle from planning to release and ongoing/new feature launch.

• Monitor backend performance and fix issues before they impact users.

• Ensure systems comply with standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Product experience is not a must but preferred.

• Deep understanding of Financial products like Margin, Futures, Perpetual swaps, options etc.

• Technical or quantitative background (e.g., CS, Financial Engineering, Math).

• Ability to understand trading logics, risk methods, and translate them into product requirements.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred to coordinate with global stakeholders and overseas partners.
