Job summary

Binance is seeking a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to optimize our scalable infrastructure and incident response. You will troubleshoot complex issues using logs and monitoring, build automation, and collaborate with multiple teams to improve product reliability and user experience.

The role emphasizes AI-driven tools, cloud-native engineering, and strong scripting skills, with remote-first collaboration across global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in DevOps / Infrastructure, with depth in at least one area and ability to learn the rest.
• Solid experience with CI/CD pipelines, public cloud, Linux, containers, IaC, monitoring and logging, scripting.
• Strong networking fundamentals: HTTP(S), DNS, proxies, VPN.
• Backend or frontend development exposure: Java/Go/Python/Node.js/TypeScript, or mobile app tech.
• Experience with AI-driven tooling or financial/Web3 background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues using logs, databases, monitoring and code to root causes.
• Identify product bugs and improvement opportunities; collaborate with business units to enhance product and UX.
• Assist Incident Management with technical incidents and contribute to post-incident reviews.
• Build and maintain internal tools and automation, including AI-driven ones, to improve team efficiency.

What You’ll Do

• Support retail and VIP users on the App, Website, Desktop Client and API.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, using logs, databases, monitoring and code to find root causes.
• Identify product bugs and improvement opportunities. Work with the BUs to improve the product and the user experience.
• Assist the Incident Management team with technical incidents. Join post-incident reviews and give recommendations.
• Build and maintain internal tools and automation, including AI-driven ones, to make the team more efficient.

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following. Depth in one area plus the ability to learn the rest matters more than covering everything.DevOps / Infrastructure: CI/CD, public cloud (AWS / GCP / Azure / Alibaba Cloud), Linux, containers (Docker / Kubernetes), IaC, monitoring and logging, scripting. Solid networking fundamentals: HTTP(S), DNS, proxies, VPN.
• Software Development: Java / Spring Boot, Go, Python, Node.js or Rust on the backend. Or JavaScript / TypeScript on the frontend. Android, iOS, H5 or Flutter on the client.
• Technical Support / Solutions / Project Management: pre-sales or post-sales technical support, solutions engineering, or technical project management for products with a million-level user base.
• Plus: production AI project experience (skills, harnesses, agentic loops), a financial services or Web3 background.
• Fluency in English is required to be able to coordinate with overseas partners and stakeholders. Additional languages, such as Mandarin, would be an advantage.
