Job summary

Daikin Applied is seeking a Product Manager to own the strategy, development, and commercial growth of the thermal management portfolio. The role leads the product lifecycle from concept to launch, aligning market needs with technical execution and business goals.

You will work with engineering, sales, operations, and customers to deliver high-performance, energy-efficient cooling solutions for commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments such as data centers and smart buildings.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management, application engineering, or product marketing in HVAC/building automation.
• Strong HVAC knowledge, thermodynamics, or cooling infrastructure.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication across engineering and commercial teams.
• Direct experience with data center thermal architecture or liquid cooling technologies.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-year product roadmap and strategic vision for thermal management portfolio, liquid cooling, and heat-rejection equipment.
• Conduct VoC research and competitive analysis to identify trends and unmet customer requirements.
• Translate market demands into detailed product specifications and guide development with R&D and engineering.
• Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, quality, and finance to optimize margins and supply resilience.
• Create positioning, pricing, literature, and sales training to support global channels and regional execution.
• Monitor adoption, field performance, and profitability; manage lifecycle updates or phase-outs.
