We're in this together, tackling big challenges with bold ideas and genuine care. We look for curious minds and courageous collaborators who bring sun-drenched optimism and drive. Whether you're building smarter solutions, supporting customers, or creating a space where everyone belongs, you'll do meaningful work with Workmates who've got your back. In return, we'll give you the trust to take risks, the tools to grow, the skills to develop and the support of a company invested in you for the long haul. So, if you want to inspire a brighter work day for everyone, including yourself, you've found a match in Workday, and we hope to be a match for you too.

About the Team

As part of Workday's HCM and WFM Engineering organization, this team builds the APIs, frameworks, and data standards that power Agent Ready Tools for first‑party and third‑party agents. We make it possible for teams across the company to access and build on our data at scale through Data Cloud, Headless Consumption, and Workday Build. If you care about data access, developer experience, and building tools other teams rely on every day, you'll feel right at home here.

About the Role

As a Product Manager on this team, you will help shape the APIs, frameworks, and data standards that make it easier for teams across Workday to access and build on our platform. You will work closely with engineering, other product teams, and partners across the company to clarify what customers and the business need, and turn that into clear, actionable plans.

Responsibilities

  • Build a strong understanding of our API platform's capabilities, how it's built, and what's coming next.

  • Help shape the roadmap by identifying the customer and business outcomes that matter most.

  • Partner with other product managers, engineers, and business teams to gather input and help set priorities.

  • Help create and apply frameworks that assess the value, urgency, and importance of new platform features.

  • Manage requests from multiple teams, making sure each one is understood, documented, and weighed against other priorities.

  • Turn product direction into clear requirements, user stories, success measures, and delivery plans.

  • Work with engineering to support iterative delivery and testing.

  • Share roadmap updates, insights, and trade‑offs with teams across the business and with product leadership.

  • Work with engineering, go‑to‑market teams, and other groups across Workday to support successful delivery and adoption.

  • Use customer feedback and usage data to inform planning and prioritization.

  • Help teams prepare for launch by clarifying product value and customer impact.

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of Product Management experience.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working with API platforms or developer tools.

  • Prior experience translating customer and business needs into product requirements and roadmaps.

  • Experience building or contributing to strong user experiences at Workday or within enterprise software.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical degree

Other Qualifications

  • Business Influence - experience shaping decisions and gaining support from technical and business teams on platform priorities and trade‑offs.

  • Cross‑Team Collaboration - experience working closely with engineering and other teams to align on shared goals and deliver capabilities together.

  • Customer Advocacy - experience representing customer and developer needs in planning so solutions reflect how people actually use the product.

  • Customer Empathy - experience listening to customers and users to understand their needs and turning that understanding into product direction.

  • Data Analysis - experience using data and usage patterns to inform decisions and measure results.

  • Decision Making - experience weighing trade‑offs and making timely calls when priorities conflict.

  • Research - experience gathering and synthesizing information from multiple sources to validate product direction.
