Batory Foods is seeking a Product Manager for Sweeteners to drive growth, profitability, and market strategy across key product categories. You will partner with suppliers, sales, supply chain, and technical teams to translate market insights into differentiated offerings and improve margins.

The role requires 8+ years in product management or related fields in food ingredients, a Bachelor’s degree, strong negotiation and leadership skills, and travel up to 30%.

• Strong knowledge of dietary fibers and nutritional functional ingredients and their applications.
• Experience developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving profitable growth.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, including overnight travel.

PRODUCT MANAGER – SWEETENERS

Job Description:

The Product Manager is responsible for driving growth, profitability, market strategy, and vendor partnerships across assigned product categories. This commercially focused leader leverages market insights, customer needs, and product expertise to identify growth opportunities, improve margins, and strengthen Batory Foods' competitive position through collaboration with suppliers, sales, supply chain, and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with key suppliers, including contract negotiations and business planning.
• Collaborate with vendors to understand product functionality, applications, and market opportunities.
• Serve as the internal subject matter expert, providing guidance and training to sales teams on product benefits, applications, and market positioning.
• Partner with Sales, Supply Chain, and Inventory teams to maximize profitability, optimize pricing strategies, and manage inventory performance.
• Identify new market opportunities, target segments, and growth initiatives to expand sales and market share.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, and pricing dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
• Work cross-functionally to develop and execute product line and go-to-market strategies.
• Support customer engagement through sales meetings, customer visits, and collaborative business development efforts.
• Contribute to growth objectives by expanding product penetration within existing accounts and acquiring new opportunities.
• Manage multiple product lines and SKUs while maintaining focus on margin improvement and revenue growth.

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Commercial Sales, or a related role within the food ingredients industry.
• Strong knowledge of dietary fibers and nutritional functional ingredients, including their applications in food, beverage, and supplement markets.
• Proven experience developing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and driving profitable growth.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Copilot, ERP, CRM, and D365 systems.
• Willingness to travel up to 30%, including overnight travel.
